My World

Through my blurry eyes I see
The colors that my world could be
Gray, dull, boring, plain
All the patterns that drive me insane
Repetative patterns like repetative days
Undefined borders like a cloudy haze.

Then out of the darkness and into the light
Come bright pigments offering a needed respite
Shapes and forms that uniquely unfold
Adding intesity to the dullest of dull
Layers of lines declaring their space
Give balance to my world's dull, repetitive state...
